Ferm O Feed is one of the major furtilizer suppliers and furtilizer plants based in the Netherlands. Ferm O Feed has modern storage, packaging and dispatch facilities at the address Gerstdijk 6 in Helmond. There is capacity for the bulk storage of approx. 7,000 tonnes of end product plus another 1,500 m2 of filled bags. The extensive storage capacity means it is always possible to satisfy customers’ requirements.

For the majority of orders, the fertilizer pellets are packed in bags. This takes place on a fully automated double packaging line suitable for 5 kg to 25 kg PE bags. If required, the pallets can be provided with a top cover and wrapping film. The semi-automatic filling unit can be used to fill big bags of 500 kg to 1500 kg. Filling big bags with a PE liner is also possible.

From the Regional Transhipment Centre operated by the DEN OUDEN GROEP, sea containers with products are transported via the inland waterways. The inland shipping vessels travel directly to their final destination or to Rotterdam or Antwerp, where both containers and bulk are transferred to seagoing vessels, heading for their final destinations, for example countries in the Mediterranean region.
